Field trips at HCFM
At the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum we seek to lay a foundation for students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), art, and history. We want to show students a historical side of STEM with a twist from our band organ’s use of binary coding to the network of simple machines that make up our 1916 carrousel. Every field trip at HCFM consists of a tour of the museum, a carousel ride, and a STEM workshop of the teacher's choosing. Field trips are approximately 90 mins long.
